CATSKILL — Four Greene County residents were arrested on various drug-related charges late last week after an investigation led to the discovery of a stash of crack-cocaine, according to police.

The Catskill Police Department executed a search warrant at 209 Main Street at about 7 p.m. Friday, which yielded about $858 worth of crack-cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

The search and arrests were the culmination of an “intensive investigation” by the Catskill Police Department, Greene County District Attorney’s Office, New York State Police, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, and New York State Division of Parole, according to a CPD press release.

Helena M. Hamm, 46, of Catskill, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with intent to sell, a class B felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a class D felony.

Brian D. Cole, 57, of Catskill, was charged with criminal nuisance, a class E felony, for allowing the illegal drug use and sale transactions to occur at his residence.

Sean M. Jackson, 46, of Athens, was charged with violating parole and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor.

James Z. Krischke, 43, of Catskill, was charged with attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree after arriving at the apartment with the intent to buy crack-cocaine.

All four were arraigned in the Caskill Village Court by Judge Maria LaRosa. Hamm was remanded to the Greene County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond; Cole was remanded to the Greene County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond; Jackson was remanded to the Greene County Jail on New York State Parole Warrant and $250 cash bail or $500 bond; Krischke was remanded to the Greene County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
