Hudson’s city government has become the topic of a semester for a class at Hofstra Law School. For their field visit, eight students spent Tuesday afternoon in the chairs of the Common Council, talking and listening to various city officials, and then sat in reserved audience seating for the evening’s council meeting.

The seminar, called Special Problems in Municipal Law, is taught by Ashira Ostrow. The students have paired off to study various aspects of the Hudson City Charter.
