Trash bins, cars compete for alley space with fire trucks

HUDSON — Hudson Fire Chief Craig Haigh alerted the Common Council’s Fire Committee Monday night to a stinky situation. Trash bins, Haigh maintained, are blocking the fire department’s access to the city’s alleyways.

“Long and Cherry alleys are two of the biggest problem spots,” Haigh announced. “So is the lower end of Prison Alley.”
