HUDSON — The bid was opened last week on 208 Columbia St., Hudson, but the sale, to Habitat for Humanity, still has to go before the Common Council.

At its Dec. 19 meeting, the Hudson Community Development and Planning Agency voted to split the existing Community Garden into two parts: The smaller part, 202, 204 and 206 Columbia St., to remain as the garden, and the larger part, 208 Columbia St., to go to a sealed bid, with the expectation that Habitat for Humanity would be the preferred bidder.
