Mayor vetoes mass gathering law

HUDSON — Mayor William H. Hallenbeck Jr. has vetoed the amended mass gathering law passed unanimously by the Common Council June 17.

In a press release emailed at 2:25 p.m. Thursday, Hallenbeck stated that the change was unnecessary, onerous to organizations, and drafted with one particular business in mind.
