Girl gets hit by sheriff’s patrol car

Injuries are said to be minor; police investigating

Catskill Police are trying to determine the circumstances of an accident in which a 13-year-old girl was hit by a Greene County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle in the village Friday.

According to eyewitnesses, Catskill Police said, the girl ran across Bridge Street and was hit by the sheriff’s patrol car at around 12:20 p.m. Catskill Police said the girl was knocked to the ground but was reported to be conscious and alert.
