U.S Rep. Chris Gibson, R/I/C-19, spent several minutes in a private conversation with U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-NY, discussing the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services’ Sept. 27 vote supporting the removal from the military chain of command the decision to prosecute sexual assaults and other serious crimes in the military.

The two talked for several minutes following their Friday tour of the Flanders factory in Hudson, with Gillibrand leaning on crutches necessitated by an injured leg sustained while exercising.
