Council, residents critique Habitat deal

HUDSON — The Hudson Common Council revisited the land dispute between Habitat for Humanity and Hudson Urban Gardens Monday, but the garden seemed to fall away as the focus changed from “whether housing” to “how much housing.”

The concern that emerged was the tight squeeze the city will be in to find housing if and when Bliss Towers has to be reduced in size or demolished, whether the sale of a parcel to Habitat was handled correctly and whether the two houses Habitat has agreed to build should have been more.
