Phoenix Hudson, which was supposed to have brought the manufacturing of plastic netting to Hudson, has ceased operations and moved out of its building, leaving the city with another large warehouse to fill.

Columbia County Planning and Economic Development Commissioner Ken Flood said the closure was caused by difficulties the plant was having with the machinery used to produce the fencing.
