GHENT — Six months after its devastating fire, TCI still continues to dominate Ghent Town Board discussion, on both sides of the podium. The board voted Wednesday to hire environmental lawyer Joseph Castiglione to address matters related to TCI, the transformer processing concern whose plant burnt down Aug. 1, 2012.

The company is in the process of applying for site plan approval to rebuild on its Fall Industrial Road site. At the same meeting, the board heard that U.S. Rep. Chris Gibson, R-Kinderhook, may also have TCI on his mind.
