Columbia County’s $9 million renovation project of the county courthouse has begun.

On Friday, crews began demolishing the courthouse annex building, where courthouse records were stored.

    The courthouse project has been on the radar for over 20 years. Chairman Gratten has finally got it off the planning table. It's good to see we finally have a Board Chairman that gets things done.
