The New York state Office of Community Renewal has approved the city of Hudson’s request to extend its $400,000 grant for a senior center, and to redirect it to the Armory building at 5th and State streets.

The Common Council will vote on whether to authorize Mayor William Hallenbeck Jr. to enter into necessary agreements with the state Office of Community Renewal to accept the grant and with the Hudson Community Development and Planning Agency to manage the grant.
