Members of Hudson’s Bangladeshi community have been putting aside money for the past 13 years toward the goal of building a new mosque at the corner of Third and Columbia streets.

“Our mission is to build a Masjid that will include separate praying space for men and women, an Islamic Library, space for children to be educated and INSHALLAH much much more,” according to the mission statement on the Hudson Islamic Center’s Facebook page. “This project will cost us approximately $500,000. Please help us by donating generously.”
