HUDSON — The Hudson City School District Board of Education has ratified a new agreement with the district’s teachers’ union, which will keep salaries flat for most teachers through 2014, while raising pay for its most experienced teachers and department heads.

The teachers have been working without a contract since the previous one expired in 2011. The Board of Education unanimously approved the new contract Monday night, along with a new state-mandated performance evaluation for teachers and administration.
