A former Hudson Middle School teacher who is suing the Hudson City School District for $2 million received a green light to take it to trial after a federal court refused to kill the case.

Sharon Hart, a 49-year-old Rensselaer County resident who taught eighth grade English Language Arts at Hudson Middle School from 2004 to 2007, initiated the suit in 2008 alleging she was a victim of age discrimination and retaliatory behavior.
