Be responsible

What are teens seen as today? Lately it seems like kids don’t know how to act or be responsible for the choices that they make. It seems like every week there is a new accident with a teenager involved. There is too much to worry about as it is to have to worry about who is driving in the car behind you.

When I was younger my mom would always tell me it’s not you I don’t trust, it’s the people around you. And now it’s not that she thinks I’m a bad driver but she thinks the people and kids driving around me are. Now she has a reason to really be saying that.

Being a teenage driver I know that this is a new privilege that I gained and I would like to keep it, I don’t want someone’s stupid mistake to ruin what I have now. If a kid is found to be the reason for an accident, I want something to happen. Don’t let them have a license or make them take classes on how to drive safely. If I am doing things that I am suppose to, wearing my seatbelt and going the speed limit I don’t want something to happen to me or anyone else not doing anything wrong.

Don’t be stupid with the privileges you are given.
