Battle goes on…again

Kinderhook

Well the cards have been dealt again between the Stuyvesant, Stuyvesant Falls and Kinderhook Fire departments and it is what it is. Let the chips fall where they may. But as a member of Kinderhook Fire Department, I urge all of us involved to take a step back and look at the big picture here.

We all need to work togather for the protection of our communities! None of us can do this alone any more. I don't care which company you are from Kinderhook, Stuyvesant, Stuyvesant Falls or any of our surrounding neighbors. Manpower numbers are not what they used to be for any of us. We are all just bedroom communities now and  We need each other.  We need to work together to provide the best service for the people. Enough “he said,” “she said.”

We have a job to do when that alarm sounds and the people need to know that we can do it the right way. But without working together we will have failed ourselves and our communities.

I hope we can get through this for the sake of the people.
