Debra Handlowitch, 42, pleaded guilty to grand larceny before Judge Jonathan Nichols in his Hudson courtroom.
She admitted in court that she took the money over the course of several months, beginning in June 2008 and ending in Feb. of this year.
A joint recomendation—between the District Attorney’s Office and her court appointed attorney Robert Linville—of six months in jail and five years of probation has been offered.
She could be facing a total of 14 years in state prison for the conviction.
Handlowitch would also have to pay restitution in the case totaling close to $129,500.
She was released on her own recognizance until her December sentencing date.

" Come on now!!! the last women to steal over $100k got 2 weekends in jail and 5 years probation?? I believe that is correct. This women should get a new court appointed lawyer. If a man did this, or a minority, there would be several years added on this sentence, in state prison. Some body please give me over $100k and i promise I will pay it back!!! "
