Anna S. Alonge

Anna S. Alonge of Greenport, died Saturday September 26 at her home. She was 78. Born in Hudson on March 21, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Maria (DeJoy) Scalera. Anna was a supervisor at Candy Lane candy factory in Hudson and Poughkeepsie. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel church in Hudson, also St. Joseph's Church (formerly Holy Family) in Stottville. She is survived by her husband Francis A. Alonge at home, one brother Charles C. Scalera of Greenport, 3 sisters; Rose M. Allen, Laura Zitto, and Margaret Russo all of Valatie, as well as many neices and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a nephew Raymond W. Allen Jr. Calling hours will be on Tuesday Sept. 29, from (5-8:00) pm at Valenti and Richards Funeral Home 700 Town Hall Drive Hudson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10:00 at St. Joseph's Church in Stottville. Burial will be in the family plot at Cedar Park Cemetery.
