Paper or plastic? Hudson Mayor Rick Scalera rolled up his sleeves, donned and apron and bagged groceries at the ShopRite store in Greenport as part of the store's "ShopRite Partners in Caring Day" Wednesday. In honor of the 10th anniversary of the hunger fighting program, Scalera bagged groceries for one hour at the store. Hudson Mayor Rick Scalera rolled up his sleeves, donned an apron and bagged groceries at the ShopRite store in Greenport as part of the store’s “ShopRite Partners in Caring Day” Wednesday. In honor of the 10th anniversary of the hunger fighting program, Scalera bagged groceries for an hour with Greenport Deputy Supervisor Keith Mortefolio, who also manned the bags.
