A home invasion at the Low Rise in Hudson sent a 55-year-old woman to the hospital over the weekend and has police looking for the culprits.
Early Sunday morning, around 1:30 a.m. someone broke into an apartment at 41 North 2nd Street in Building 2, while a 55-year-old woman was home alone.
The woman was transported by Greenport Rescue to Columbia Memorial Hospital where she was treated and later released.
“She was complaining of head pain,” said Hudson Police Lt. Richard Paolino,
According to Paolino the woman may have been suffering from shock.
The incident was reported after the fact by a family member.
The woman resides at the apartment with her 19-year-old son who was not home at the time of the break-in.
