Demand to be heard

After Saturday’s “Congress-on-the-Corner” I went to the official web site of Congressmen Scott Murphy to see what was scheduled for up coming meetings . I found that on the 10th he posted a notice that he would be in Amenia on the 11th.

So I called his Saratoga office. There, a sweet sounding young lady told me that she didn’t know anything about his plains for next week and directed me to the web where there is also no info. Next I called Glens Falls again no information is available, go to the web. I called Hudson four times there was always a busy signal. I assume that this means the phone is left off the hook and there isn’t really an office there. Next, I called his D.C. office they sent me to the same Internet where there is no information. When I pressed him for an answer other then “the congressman’s schedule has not been finalized” he hung up on me.

I have worked with congressmen! He knows more than one day in advance where he’s going, or he’s even more inept then he seems. Want to join Murphy at a “Town Hall meeting,” a “Greet the Congressmen” or “Congress-on-the-Corner” or what ever they call in next week? Call all of the numbers below, tell them you have a right to know when and where he will be meeting the public! Tell them you want to know when and where with enough time to hire a baby-sitter, secret meetings may bring up his numbers, but its not the American way.

His office numbers are: Saratoga: 518-581 8247; Hudson: 518-828-3109; Glens Falls, 518-743-0964; and D.C. 202-225-5614.

Demand to be heard! In Valatie there were 2/3 opposed to his love of the Obama health plan, make sure he hears you!

" 4/5 were for his plan. The gop scream and yelled the whole time. I guess they figure they know so much they don't have to even listen to what our congress man has to say.

How come they don't complain about the trillions bush wasted looking for WMD in Iraq? "
