Canaan turns 250

The town of Canaan will be celebrating its 250th anniversary with a Community Day noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1. The Town Hall on County Route 5 will be displaying an exhibit of artifacts spanning 250 years of Canaan history, while various activities such as an art exhibit, music, food and more, will be held at Stoddard Park across the street.
