Roland and Mary Colavito

The couple were happily married for 72 years. They lived in Brooklyn Heights and vacationed at their country home in the beloved Catskills. and later retired to Palm Springs, California, in the ’90s.

Their cremains were brought to Catskill and were buried at Saint Patrick’s Cemetery on July 25. They are resting with their parents Maria and Michele Colavito.

They are survived by their grandson Christopher Colavito-Yafai of Catskill; daughter Marie Colavito of Palm Beach County, Florida; their son, Philip Colavito and Dean Seymour of Los Angeles and Palm Springs, California; and granddaughter, Camille Dunham and her husband Rick Dunham of Salt Lake City, Utah; their great-granddaughter, Justine Dunham of Utah. The services were an intimate gathering at Saint Patrick’s Church.

Their sister-in-law Millie Ambrosino and niece Alice Dibiase and her husband Joseph Dibiase of Palm Desert, California attended the service.

The couple are missed and were always an integral part of all the family gatherings. Their marriage was a testament to their commitment to each other.

They were loved more than they could ever know. We carry a heavy heart till we all meet again.
