Barbara J. Yates
Barbara J. Yates, 48, of Stockport, died Monday, July 27, 2009 at her residence.
Born Aug. 17, 1960 in Hudson, she was the beloved daughter of Bernice (Barkman) Christian of Ghent and the late Oscar Christian.
Barbara was a lifelong area resident. She was a hostess at Meadowgreens Restaurant.
In addition to her mother, surviving are her devoted husband, David Yates of Stockport; her loving son, Matthew Yates of Stockport; three stepsons, John Yates of Louisiana, David, Jr. and Cory Yates both of Niverville; her brother Tim Christian of Stottville; three sisters, Debby Zyryi of Stottville, Denise Howard of Ghent, and Linda Yates of Hudson; several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Bates & Anderson - Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green St., Hudson.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Cedar Park Cemetery.
