HUDSON — A Poughkeepsie resident was arrested Saturday for allegedly breaking another man’s leg in two places during an argument on Warren Street in Hudson.

David N. DiBlasi, 39, was arrested by Hudson Police Officer Jason Finn on a signed felony complaint for a second-degree assault that police say took place Friday at the mini-park located on the 500 block of Warren Street.

County 911 reported dispatching an ambulance to the park for a 38-year-old victim that was unable to walk. The victim was taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital where he was treated for facial contusions and two fractures in his leg.

According to HPD Lt. Richard Paolino, DiBlasi was arrested by patrols after they investigated the incident.

The suspect was arraigned before Judge William Cranna in Hudson City Court and remanded to Columbia County Jail on $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.

This is the sixth time DiBlasi has been charged by HPD in a little more than two months, from disorderly conduct March 16 to second-degree criminal trespass and harassment April 6.
