Three injured in rollover accident

AUSTERLITZ — Three persons were transported to Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Mass., after their car rolled over Monday afternoon on Route 22 near Fog Hill Road.
Emergency personnel were called at 4:57 p.m. The vehicle had rolled over and landed on its side. Chatham Rescue Squad carried two patients and Philmont Rescue Squad transported the third. Copake Rescue was present for mutual aid.
The state Department of Transportation was called to the scene with a sander. A Lifenet helicopter was on standby, but was not used. Austerlitz Fire Company was also on the scene, with Red Rock Fire Company standing by. Units were back in service by 6:32 p.m.
The New York State Police, New Lebanon barracks, are investigating the accident.
