HUDSON — A large group of Hudson Middle School Students wearing bright yellow T-shirts with the words “character counts” stood before the Hudson City School Board on Monday night to the cheers of the public and a round of applause from all.
The children, from grades five to nine, were chosen for the “Principal’s Breakfast Award Club” for demonstrating an effort in their academic studies and who express consistent good character. “There’s a 128 students and another 45 nominated,” said HMS Principal Ryan Groat.
